Just a selection of my books, not including any law textbooks, that are on my bookshelf! They're such great company, they never criticise or answer back...perfect companions really. The books are a mixture of presents I have been given, new purchases, proof (or ARCs according to a work colleague)/ damaged copies from work and library purchases for a few pence...

What a wonderful selection of books, Kitty - and Absolutely AMEN to your comments! Books are never manipulative, greedy, jealous, self centred or self serving - they just want to sit down with you and explain a few things, perhaps tell you a story, and the BEST bit of all is that at that moment, they are only interested in YOUR attentions, no-one elses!
Chez Minx is simply stuffed to the RAFTERS with all manner of literary treasures, and I think it sufficient to say that if I have nothing to read before me I am likely to develop a nervous tick and express an extreme interest in examining the printed label of your coat/jumper/bag/hat/pencil case.
I'd LOVE to have a part time job in a booksellers!! ( just pay me in books, I have such a list of must haves at the moment my bank manager is about to have yet another of his seasonal nervous BREAKDOWNS!!!)
